End of Year Awards 2018
We were delighted to welcome parents into the Studios to watch their child's dance classes at the end of the year.
Audiences enjoyed watching 117 dance class demonstrations and seeing the excellent progress their young dancers have made over the year. We were very proud of the performances by the students, and the smiles, applause and positive feedback from parents. The Monday evening ballet and tap students were especially excited to have Mrs Clark, the CSBS Principal, come to watch their classes. Until this year, Mrs Clark taught the Monday classes and enjoyed seeing how much the children had progressed with their new teacher.
In each class, we awarded badges for 100% attendance as well as certificates and trophies for significant progress. In total, we presented almost 600 awards including:
- 351 attendance badges
- 125 class progress certificates
- 114 class progress trophies
- 4 overall progress trophies
...And everyone's favourite part, around 2000 packets of sweets!

Many thanks to the support of all the parents who came along and to all our teachers who have kept the classes hard working and lots of fun, which is evident in the progress over the year! We look forward to classes starting back on 7 January 2018 when we will be straight back into competitions, workshops, shows, rehearsals and Spring exams!
