End of Year Parent’s Days

We were delighted to be able to invite parents into the Studios to watch our dance classes over the last week of our dance year. Audiences were able to see what their child has been learning over the past term or year and how they’ve progressed. Over the week we also presented awards in each class for significant progress with our preschool dancers each receiving certificates for the end of their theme.

ANNUAL PROGRESS AWARDS

We presented trophies and certificates in each class to the students who had made significant progress, as well as an overall trophy for each branch for the most improved student. In total, we presented 88 class trophies; 73 certificates; and 3 overall branch trophies. Huge congratulations to all the award recipients!

BRAES BRANCH OVERALL TROPHY - Freya Jones

Freya studies Grade 3 ballet, pointe, and jazz, and is a member of both our Majors programme and Starshine Elite dance team. She is also a class helper for junior ballet. Her class teachers were impressed by her constant determination and effort in every class alongside her personal practice which have resulted in great progress.

LINLITHGOW BRANCH OVERALL TROPHY - Hannah Firth

Hannah is one of our Advanced students studying ballet, tap, jazz, commercial and acro as well as Majors ballet and Starshine Elite team. She also assists in acro classes. Her class teachers were extremely impressed by her progress and the effort she puts into every lesson whether at advanced level or when she joins in senior classes for extra practice. She is also very supportive of her peers. An ideal role model for our junior students!

QUEENSFERRY BRANCH OVERALL TROPHY - Marilena Lalou

Marilena studies Grade 7 and Majors ballet, and jazz. She is also in the associate programme with Edinburgh Festival Ballet and assists in our preschool ballet classes. Her class teachers were impressed by her focus in every class and notable progress over the past year.
