Winter 22 exam results

The results from our Winter 2022 exam session have arrived and we are proud to report that every candidate passed with strong results!

RAD BALLET EXAMS

Forty-five students sat their Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams from Primary Grade to Grade 5 and also at vocational level. Overall they gained 14 Merit, 23 High Merit, 3 Distinction and 1 High Distinction, plus 4 gaining their Class Award. Our 3 vocational students gained Merit and High Merit which is an excellent achievement at that level.

Congratulations to them all with a special well done to Jill Russell for being the only candidate gaining over 80% this session with an impressive 92% for her Grade 5 ballet exam!

Our RAD certificates, reports and medals should arrive in the next few weeks.

IDTA EXAMS AND AWARDS

We recently joined the International Dance Teachers Association and have been trialling the range of awards and exams. This session we had 45 candidates enter for their Stardance Awards in tap, jazz, and ballet as well as 5 students sitting their Grade 1 Tap exam. All the Stardance candidates gained their award (it doesn’t carry a graded level), and the Grade 1 candidates gained 1 Pass, 2 Merit, and 2 Distinctions. Well done evryone!
