More trophies for Starshine Elite!

Our Starshine Elite dance teams have started the new term with a haul of trophies!

Showcase Performing Arts challenge

Some of the dancers competed in solos and duets as well as the group routines in the inaugural showcase Performing Arts competition in August. They won an array of trophies!

Dance Show Live

The teams performed in the 'Nations Best Dance Act' competition at Dance Show Live in Glasgow in August. They were placed in every section they entered with some great results:

GROUPS:

• 'Dangerous Woman' (Senior Elite) FIRST
• 'Pride of Scotland' FIFTH

SOLOS:

• Zoe  - SECOND  /  Iana - FOURTH

DUETS:

• Iana and Lucy 2nd / Sarah and Rosie 3rd / Dayna and Laura 4th / Laura and Zoe 5th

That's Showbiz Semi-Finals 

The team travelled to Blackpool in September with some of the newly auditioned members in their routines. Coaches Claire and Kristina had spent a lot of rehearsal time re-choreographing the routines to include the new members and to give them a taste of competition straight away! They had great success over the two days with the following awards and also qualifying for the finals in Liverpool!
