Preschool parents days
We are always delighted (and a little nervous!) to welcome parents of our preschool ballet dancers to view their classes regularly. It give the parents the opportunity to see what the children have been learning in their regular class with their teacher and each block follows a different theme. The themes introduce basic dance or ballet skills with storytelling, music and props.
On parent’s day, each little dancers is presented with a certificate to acknowledge their progress. This session, each branch was working on a different theme with their teacher:
Braes - CIRCUS - teacher Amanda
Linlithgow - UNDER THE SEA - teacher Hayley
Queensferry - MAGIC CASTLE - teachers Lucy / Frances
We are very excited to now be working toward our littlest dancers performing onstage as part of our annual dance displays, and preparations have begun! Some of the classes have already started the story “Dogs Don’t Do Ballet” to introduce the idea of performing onstage, lights, costumes, and audiences. Parents can find out more about our dance displays on the DANCE DISPLAY page.
