Spring exam session is over!

We had a huge session of exams this spring.... Well done to everyone for their hard work and effort!

In total, we had eight-and-a-half days packed full for tap, ballet and acrobatics, and 292 candidates! You can view a gallery of the candidates on our CSBS Facebook page.

ISTD Tap exams

Thirty-four candidates from our Braes and Linlithgow branches sat their Primary and Grade 1 tap exams with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. They all came out full of smiles and we are looking forward to receiving their results soon!

RAD Ballet Exams

We had 167 Royal Academy of Dance ballet exam candidates this session from Pre-Primary, the first exam level, all the way up to Grade 8! Many congratulations to Lucy, Sam and Emma for reaching the Grade 8 Award level. Emma was also our only Vocational candidate this session, sitting her Intermediate exam in Glasgow.

BATD Acrobatics Medal Tests

It was another epic session for our acro students with 91 sitting their medal tests from the First Steps level all the way up to Zoe, Serena and Skye sitting their final exam, the Premiere Award.

We expect all the results to arrive just after the Easter break and they will be distributed in class time. Many thanks to all the teachers and parents who worked hard to help the students prepare for their exams. While we await the results, we are enjoying a week of fun and fundraising in our "Family Dance Off Week" at all our dance classes before starting work on our dance display routines!
