Winterfest WLDF 2024

The WLDF Winterfest competition was the first competition of the season for our new Junior team! Alongside our more experienced Seniors, they took to the floor in solos and a group routine and loved their first competition experience. The Seniors and their parents were incredibly supportive and we were very proud of them all.

Overall, our dancers gained strong results with good scores in their levels. Here is a summary of the placings:

LYRICAL SOLOS

For their first competition, the soloist compete in a grading section. Well done to our dancers for their first perfromance!

• Harry - under 12 grading - 2nd Place

• Lily - under 12 grading - 6th Place

• Rosie - under 14 grading - 4th

• Grace - under 14 grading - 2nd Place

• Kara - under 14 grading - 2nd Place

• Jill - under 18 grading - 1st Place

The other dancers from our Senior team have competed before with WLDF and it was great to see so many of them place as well as gain top 6 and top 3 awards too!

• Niamh - under 16 level 1- 7th

• Freya and Murray - under 16 level 1 jazz duo- 3rd Place

LYRICAL GROUPS

• Defying Gravity (juniors) - under 14 level 1 - 3rd Place

• Red Ribbon (seniors) - over 16 level 1- 1st Place
