Braes little stars shine in dance display
One hundred little dancers took to the stage in our first ever junior show for the CSBS Braes branch.
The dancers aged 3-6 showcased their talents in ballet, jazz and tap routines at the MacRobert Arts Centre in "Out of this World: Little Stars Edition". this was the first time the Braes branch had staged a junior show and it was wonderful! Many thanks to the parents of Majors students, and the former CSBS students who all came along to chaperone, allowing all the parents of the little stars to watch the show. There were just over 400 people in the audience who cheered and clapped enthusiastically (and shed the occasional proud tear!).
Some of our Senior students also joined the show and performed jazz, tap, acrobatics and ballet routines, including a short ballet of "Narnia". Majors students Riona Clifford (12), Sarah Leslie (13), Serena McCall (11) and Zoe Young (12) each performed medal winning solos which they had choreographed themselves. Riona and Sarah were the joint winners of our Millennium Trophy this year and were given the opportunity to perform their solos throughout our dance display run.
We would be delighted to get your feedback from the show, please answer a few questions on our survey.
