CSBS teacher reaches national award finals
CSBS teacher Amanda reached the finals of the UK "What's On 4 Junior" Awards 2015...
The Awards showcase and reward the best children's activities and leaders from across the UK as voted by the public. This year there were over 100,000 votes cast!
Nominations and finalists
We were nominated in 4 categories by the parents of our students:
- Best local activity for under 5s
- Best local activity for children aged 5-12
- Most outstanding activity leader for under 5s (Amanda Clark)
- Most outstanding activity leader for children aged 5-12 (Amanda Clark)
The public were then encouraged to vote on all the nominations; those with the highest number of votes were selected as finalists. We were delighted to learn that CSBS teacher Amanda had reached the finals for 'Most Outstanding Activity leader for children aged 5-12'!
Awards ceremony
Amanda travelled to Drayton Manor in Tamworth on 19 June for the Awards ceremony hosted by TV personality and busy mum, Lucy Piper. She was one of the very few individuals there who was not part of a UK or International franchise group which made us especially proud of her place in the finals and the support of our parents! Unfortunately Amanda didn't receive a prize but was presented with a certificate for her finalist place.

Many, many thanks to all the people who took the time to both nominate and vote for us in these awards, your support is very much appreciated and we are delighted that Amanda received enough support to make the final 5 in the UK!
