Arts Personality of the Year Award

Many congratulations to CSBS teacher Amanda Clark on receiving the 'Personality of the Year' Award at the Falkirk Council Sport and Arts Awards.

The Falkirk Council Annual Sports and Arts Awards recognise individuals, clubs and teams who have brought merit and distinction to the Falkirk Council area through their achievements in, or service to, sport and the arts. The arts awards were presented in association with the Falkirk and District Arts and Civic Council.

Personality of the Year

The Award was presented to Amanda by Agnes Mullen, Chairperson of the Falkirk and District Arts and Civic Council as part of the evening ceremony. She was nominated by the Executive Committee for her dedication and services to dance, contribution to fundraising for charity and personal determination in recovering from serious injury.

The distinguished list of previous winners include:

Agnes Mullen told the audience of Amanda's work with family run Central Scotland Ballet School, the Royal Academy of Dance, the Genée International Ballet Competition, Falkirk District Arts and Civic Council, the Tryst Festival and Creative Scotland, as well as a little about her Business Awards and charitable fundraising.
