Business Award winners 2014!

We are delighted to have won a Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Award for "Best Ecommerce Strategy"...

The inaugural awards attracted entries from a wide range of businesses across the Forth Valley area and we were selected as one of three finalists in our category. In January, Amanda had to make a presentation to a panel of judges from the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce and detailed how we use our website and social media to communicate with our customers as well as the success of our online shop, CSBS Supplies. She explained how we have created a community spirit and that the school has grown considerably since we moved online and began using new technologies.

Awards Ceremony

The winners were announced at a black-tie ceremony on 13 March at MacDonald Inchyra Hotel. Amanda attended the event with Cameron Leask, Managing Director of Escrivo, the company who originally built our website and shop. There were lots of nerves as the finalists and winners were announced (our category was the last to be revealed) followed by big smiles when we were announced as winners! Amanda was presented with a crystal trophy by Squadron Leader Jerry Riley RAAF.

Following the ceremony she enjoyed meeting Pat Reid, Provost of Falkirk and other distinguished guests as well as receiving congratulations from the judging panel... and some midnight fish'n'chips!
