Business Awards 2013

We were very excited to be finalists in the Falkirk Herald Business Awards 2013 for 'Best Website/Ecommerce"...

The awards celebrate business achievement in Falkirk district and bring together businesses of all sizes. The finalists were selected from hundreds of applications and the winners chosen by a small panel of judges.

Our shop, CSBS Supplies, was one of only 3 finalists in the 'Best website/ecommerce' category. Since creating the online shop, we have seen an increase in traffic to our website and increase in sales as it has proved really popular with our students and their parents. The judges were impressed by Amanda's presentation and genuinely interested to hear how using the internet has changed our business.

Awards ceremony

Finalists and local business leaders attended a glittering ceremony at the Macdonald Inchyra hotel with a meal and entertainment. Amanda got all glammed up and joined Cameron Leask of Escrivo at the event; Escrivo is the company which built our website.

Unfortunately we didn't scoop the award this year; we were beaten by the Macdonald luxury hotel chain. However, it was a great experience and honour to be in the top three!

Herald Family Business Awards

We were also nominated for a Scottish Family Business Award in November. Unfortunately we did not reach the finals but were delighted to demonstrate the strength of our family business. Central Scotland Ballet School, CSBS Supplies and the CSBS Dance Bucket are all run solely by Jacqueline, Amanda and Samantha Clark who also do 75% of all our class teaching... So it is truly a family business!
