Starshine dazzle at 'That's Showbiz'

Our Starshine Elite dancers have scooped another haul of trophies at their latest competition!

The teams competed in the Scottish heats of the national "That's Showbiz" group dance competition with a range of jazz and hip-hop routines. The Youth development class also had their first taste of a competition taking 2 routines to the stage.

Here is a list of the prize winning routines with 8 qualifying for the semi-finals in Blackpool later this year. Many of the routines won more than one award!

• "Run" - Highest mark Kids classic; 1st place Kids overall; Judges choice award
• "Rise up" - Highest mark mixed classic; 2nd place mixed overall
• "Fight song" - Highest mark mixed open; 1st place mixed overall
• "Dangerous Woman" - Highest mark senior modern; Best small group senior; 1st place senior overall
• "Money" - Highest mark hip; 3rd place mixed overall
• "Let's have a Kiki" - Highest mark senior hip; 2nd place senior overall
• "I lived" - Highest mark kids modern; 3rd place kids overall
