WLDF World Champions!
Our CSBS Elite dance team had a brilliant time at the World Lyrical Dance Federation (WLDF) World Championships which were held in Dundee this year. Over 4 days our small team of 16 dancers competed in around 60 different routines including solos, duets, small groups, and squads, in lyrical, jazz and acro styles! They were competing against and performing alongside dancers from across the UK and South Africa.
They all performed strongly in their categories and we were extremely proud of them all. In summary they achieved 7 World Championships Titles, 10 Silver medals and 4 Bronze medals, with a total of 42 top 10 placings for their routines! You can see the full results on our Facebook posts from the week of the event, and view a gallery of photos on our CSBS Facebook page.
For solos, the top 6 in each section had to dance again in the grand finals to achieve their placings, which was both exciting and exhausting!
