Dancers shine in panto season!
We were proud to see many of our dancers perform in pantomimes across Scotland over the Festive season.
Linlithgow Players local panto
We had 6 young dancers perform in "Beauty and the Beast" with the Linlithgow Players. This is the 17th consecutive year we have worked with the company and it is always great fun! Dancers Adela Mayers, Erin Mitchell, Katy Russell, Sarah Leslie, Olivia Boath and Riona Clifford performed as snowflakes, can-can dancers, fireflies and gospel singers in the show! Also in the junior chorus was Grangemouth branch student Aisling McCusker.
They received an excellent review in the local paper:
"...the performances from the young dancers of Central Scotland Ballet School - who have collaborated with the Players for a number of years - were wonderful; the highlight being their arrangement to music from Swan Lake during the first half."

Professional pantomimes...
Eve Hanson successfully auditioned for the professional panto "Sleeping Beauty" at Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline and danced alongside a cast of Scottish TV stars. Last year, Eve performed in the Kings Theatre pantomime in Edinburgh!
Sisters Jenna and Sam Davidson successfully auditioned for "Aladdin" at Macrobert Arts Centre in Stirling. This is the 2nd and 3rd years for them appearing in the productions. Well done girls!
Children's Theatre
A number of students appeared with local Youth Theatre and children's theatre groups too. Samantha Niven and Lisa Muir were dancers in Project Theatre's production of "Snow Girl" while April, Freya, Hannah, Iana, Isla, Lauren, Lucy and Sarah performed in "Snow White" with Falkirk Children's Youth Theatre. A number of students also starred in the Forth Dimension's annual pantomime in South Queensferry while senior student Caitlin Whyte starred in a panto with Boness Children's Theatre.
