Summer dance opportunities...
Sometimes the summer break can seem VERY long, but we have lots of dance activities to keep young dancers busy!
Performances
We are delighted to be invited to dance at a number of events throughout the summer months. Including Armed Forces Day, Be Inspired event, RNLI Open Day, Westquarter Family Day and more. We have tried to include as many age groups as possible in these events so please check out our online notice board or Facebook events page for more details and to see if your child is able to take part. Remember that the best part of dancing is being able to perform!
Summer classes
We have revised our summer programme this year and are trying out some short courses instead of just one-day events. There are activities for all ages and abilities, including:
- Summer Boogie (ages 4-8)
- Dance Maniacs Junior (ages 7-10)
- Project Dance Summer School (ages 10-advanced)
Check out the information on our website and Facbook events pages. We are trying to add more venues in over the break and information will be updated regularly
We will also be trying to keep you posted with dance related news, performances, workshops and events across Scotland so that you can keep dancing through the summer.
STV and Dance Show Live
We are delighted to be involved in the STV Dance Marathon again this year which will be taking place on Sunday 25 August in Glasgow. Registration forms will be available soon and participants will need to register BEFORE the new term in August... So watch this space! Last year we raised such a fantastic sum of money that we were invited to take part in press events and even the live TV show!
On the same weekend, Dance Show Live and the UDO Street Dance World Championships are taking place in Glasgow, so please make it a great dance weekend and get involved in the range of performances and workshops!
