Showtime for our Queensferry dancers

Over 200 young dancers from our South Queensferry branch took to the stage in our 2017 display, "Legends".

The dancers aged 7-18 showcased their skills in a range of ballet, tap and jazz routines at the Macrobert Arts Centre over 2 performances. The audience loved the show and the dancers received great cheers and applause! Also performing in the show were our Majors ballet dancers who performed a short ballet adaptation of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". The Junior students aged 3-6 will be performing later this month in Howden Park Centre.

We would be delighted to get your feedback on the the display so please take a few minutes to complete our short survey.

Charity collections

Our charity bucket collections after each performance raised a total of £217.87, and the programme donations raised another £276.04 . Dancers Iana and Lucy were also raising money for their Dance World Cup experience; thank you to everyone who made a guess, the winners and their fundraising total will be announced after our display run!

Thanks also to everyone who donated shoes to our appeal. We will be making a donation of dance shoes and clothes to send to Africa in association with Gambia Ballet Factory.
