Little dancers dazzle in "Pure Imagination"
One hundred and forty little dancers aged 3-7 from Central Scotland Ballet School performed "Pure Imagination" as part of the 2019 Tryst Festival in Falkirk Town Hall.
Exam results for Spring 2019
Central Scotland Ballet School had 341 exam candidates in Spring 2019 with some very strong results and students gaining top marks.
Choreography competition 2019
The 2019 CSBS Choreography Competition was a great day with 70 dancers performing 116 routines, and 154 certificates, 72 medals, and 8 trophies presented!
Follow Your Dreams prize for Iana
CSBS dancer Iana was awarded first place for each of her solos, and then a string of awards at the Follow Your Dreams Competition in Aberdeen.
Can You Dance? Glasgow 2019
The CSBS Starshine Elite dance team attended the Can You Dance? convention in Glasgow and enjoyed a full day of masterclasses and competition.
Heidi performs in Les Misérables
Little CSBS dancer Heidi starred as 'Little Cosette' in the professional touring production of 'Les Miserables' at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre... What an amazing experience!
Russian Ballet competition success
Seven young dancers from Central Scotland Ballet School competed in the Terspichore of the North International Russian Ballet competition with Iana Phillips winning the Grand Prix
Starshine win at BOSS Championships
Our CSBS Starshine cheer and dance teams competed at BOSS Cheer and Dance Open Championships in Perth in January 2019 winning 6 first place trophies and 2 third place trophies...
Awards for excellence 2018
CSBS presented awards for highest marks in ballet and tap exams and performance awards, as well as trophies for the most potential in acrobatics in 2018.
Winter exam session results 2018
CSBS had a small exam session in the Winter of 2018 with 97 candidates sitting ballet or tap exams. Overall, almost 40% gained Distinction, and everyone passed!
End of Year Awards 2018
Parents were invited to watch their child's CSBS dance classes over the last week of the year. We also presented around 600 awards for progress and attendance!
WW1 Centenary Concert
Students of Central Scotland Ballet School performed "Remembered" in a WW1 centenary concert organised by Falkirk District Arts and Civic Council.
Winter Exam session 2018
Around 100 young dancers from Central Scotland Ballet School sat ballet and tap exams in the Winter exam session.
Super Sunday dance workshops
CSBS dancers had the chance to train in jazz dance with the legendary Jordi Guitart, and also try Yoga with Tess from Sunyata Yoga. A wonderful day of dance for all involved!
Inspire Dance Championship success
The CSBS Starshine Elite team competed in solos and duets at the Inspire Dance Championships, winning a host of trophies for different dance styles.

Dance Dads fundraising success
Central Scotland Ballet School hosted a unique Macmillan Coffee Morning... as it was for Dance Dads! They enjoyed a special workshop to learn about their child's hobby.
RAD Scotland Junior Awards 2018
Five CSBS students took part in the 2018 RAD Junior Awards Day with Ailish being awarded the 'Terry Darke Memorial Cup for Musicality'.
Junior Summer School 2018
Thirty dancers aged 7-11 joined the CSBS Junior Summer School 2018 and created a short performance with the theme of "China". Great effort from everyone involved!
Project Dance Summer School 2018
Project Dance brought 63 young dancers together from across Scotland for 4 days of intensive dance training with an amazing faculty of guest dance tutors.
